Jason Mountario BIG BAND - Princess of Sahara 2 Live @Berklee 160 Studio 2

I’m deeply excited to present my newest composition “Princess of Sahara 2” with my BIG BAND. This piece is a continuum from the first chapter, which I had a couple years ago. I knew from the beginning that it was just an “overture”, and I wasn’t really aware of how to “compose” it in the first place… So after 2 years, I decided to expand the piece much more, and to give it a much more detailed and focused story, both narratively and composition-wise. This one indeed, one of the longest and biggest compositions I’ve ever written. I want to thank my mentors, Bob Pilkington, and Greg Hopkins for your guidance. And… Ayn Inserto, for your super honest criticism on the first piece. Without it, Princess 2 will not be here. Princess of Sahara 2 is about Love Story. A story that tells this one princess who falls in love with this one peasant. An epic journey for them, trapped in society, seeking for the truth. Enjoy the journey of love. (Facebook compressed.
